STEM School Label’s Science Project Workshop in the Future Classroom Lab

26.09.2019

The STEM School Label and Scientix co-organised a two-day workshop at European Schoolnet’s headquarters in Brussels.

Between 20-21 September 2019, the STEM School Label and Scientix co-organised a two-day workshop at European Schoolnet’s headquarters in Brussels. Representatives of the 20 Ambassador STEM Schools attended sessions on the criteria defining a STEM School, such as Curricula implementation, School Leadership and Culture and Assessment.

It was especially fruitful for Ambassador STEM Schools since they will serve as good examples for other schools in Europe. During this two-day workshop, EUN provided Ambassador STEM Schools (represented for each one by the head of school and a teacher) with resources and extra guidance in order to help them reach the next label in the coming months.

João Costa, Portuguese Secretary of State of education attended the closing of the 33rd Science Projects Workshop and highlighted the importance for schools to develop their STEM School strategy for their students and education in general.
