Osnovna škola Petra Preradovića Awarded NBS School Expertise

We are thrilled to announce that Osnovna škola Petra Preradovića, located in Zadar, Croatia, has been awarded the prestigious NBS School Expertise! This recognition highlights their dedication to environmental education, sustainability, and innovation through nature-based learning.

Head of School, Ante Barać, shared the following message about this special achievement:

"It is with great pride and joy that I congratulate all our teachers and pupils on receiving the Nature-Based Solutions Quality Label – a recognition that confirms that the continuous work done in our school has truly been acknowledged at the European level. This label is not just a symbol of excellence, but a testament to the years of effort, creativity, and dedication that we invest daily in education focused on sustainability, environmental protection, and the well-being of our local community.

Our teachers have shown that education can inspire and transform – not only by sharing knowledge but by shaping values, encouraging empathy, responsibility, and real action. I am especially proud that our pupils had the opportunity to learn in nature, about nature, and for nature – developing critical thinking, curiosity, and a strong sense of connection to the local community.
