New Expert School

Congratulations to Escolas de Mangualde for obtaining the Expert label, proving that their school has a well-rounded STEM strategy and is continuously dedicated to developing their STEM teaching and learning!
According to Rui Costa, the Councilor for Education in the municipality of Mangualde:
“Obtaining the STEM Expert Label is the culmination of a commitment made by the Municipality of Mangualde, together with the Mangualde School’s Cluster and the EduFor Teacher Training Center, in the STEM methodology from pre-school to secondary school, with support for STEM Mangualde Academy created in 2018. This distinction is the recognition of the work carried out by a large team of professors, experts, partners (business fabric, higher education, national educational entities, etc.) of more than 100 STEM activities so far (see examples at https://academiastemmangualde.pt/).Being the first school in the country with such a distinction, brings us the responsibility of continuing to invest and share the work we develop with a view to maintaining the Expert label for many years to come.”
